Aperol Spritz

A perfect combination: Aperol Spritz and Luca Trazzi. Born in Verona and educated in Venice, the designer has always had a strong connection with Veneto, his homeland, and with the tradition of Aperol Spritz.

Not only do they share common origins, but also a shared mood and philosophy.

Just like Aperol Spritz, attention to detail, high quality, and usability are the keys to all the successes signed by the Venetian designer.

Inspired by Luca Trazzi, the central concept behind the creation of the new glass emerges directly from Aperol: by inverting the iconic bottle and stylizing the characteristic curve of its neck, a glass with sinuous, slender, and original lines was designed.

The glass thus expresses the entire history and tradition of the famous aperitif cocktail, thanks to a stylistic element that has remained unchanged since 1919: the unmistakable profile of the bottle's neck.

"I designed this glass with the idea of creating something not minimalist, but solid and functional, capable of standing out from the typical glassware found at home or in a bar," says Luca Trazzi. "This glass was conceived to interact with the other objects around it, to be present and visible during the social moment of the aperitif, but most importantly, to embrace and highlight its contents. The famous orange color of the Aperol Spritz is enhanced by the glass's soft and rounded lines; ultimately, given the shape I chose for this glass, it's as if this drink emerges from and returns to the Aperol bottle."
